Spontaneous Human Combustion

So don't ask what I was searching for on the web. It was so stupid and silly, but in my search I tripped over the picture of a supposed victim of Spontaneous Human Combustion. So then I wondered, is this really a true phenomenon? Can someone really go up in a burst of flames? The picture showed a walker next to a toilet. In the middle was a burnt hole in the floor and then next to all the ashes was a human leg with the slipper still on. It was so macabre, of course I had to do further research. I didn't get too deep into it, but enough to guess I'm not sure if all scientists believe this is possible. However one website I read stated most of the victims are women and most were alcoholics who went up after a particularly heaving drinking episode.

Great, for years I've feared dying alone and having my dog eat my dead flesh like the actress in "Hollywood Babylon." Now I've got to worry about going up in burst of flames. It's hell being a single woman! I now feel really anxious about emptying my liquor cabinet, but I'm sure a drink will dull that urge.

My birthday turned ended so wonderfully. My friends took me out to the most awesome restaurant, the Mockingbird Bistro. It is gothic and eclectic and absolutely beautiful. We had a beautiful corner table where we had so much room. It was a rich, comfortable restaurant reminiscent of what you'd find in Washington, DC or on the East coast. The martinis were a religious experience. Made to perfection. The service was helpful and unobtrusive. The food was delicious. My friends gave me the most amazingly beautiful roses and a bag of wonderful gifts. It was so relaxing and fantastic. I felt like a princess. Yesterday my best friend sent me a box of goodies. As I predicted to my friend who watched me open the package, everything was unique and just perfect. She always sends the most wonderful gifts. I felt very pampered and honored.

Now I'm trying to get up and get with the day. Unfortunately, it's very cold outside and warm and toasty in my home. In addition, I just took a bath and am ready for a nice nap. Oh well, can it really hurt? Just to play it safe, I'll lock up the booze and put the dog in another room. Smile!
